• Name — optionally provided in your profile
• Content you create — properties, guides, cards, and their associated images and map locations
• Usage data — anonymous analytics on guide views and guest check-in confirmations

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the TapFindMe service
• Send you authentication verification codes
• Manage your subscription and billing through Paddle
• Display aggregated analytics about how guests interact with your guides
• Improve the platform and troubleshoot technical issues

Guest Data

Guests who view your check-in guides do not need to create an account. We collect anonymous session identifiers and hashed IP addresses solely to count unique guide views and check-in confirmations. No personally identifiable information is collected from guests without their knowledge.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

• Paddle.com — our payment processor and Merchant of Record, who handles all billing and subscription management
• Firebase / Google Cloud Storage — used to store images you upload to your guides
• Service providers necessary to operate the platform, under strict confidentiality agreements

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your properties, guides, and content are permanently deleted. Your email is retained in a restricted list solely to prevent trial abuse on re-registration. You may request complete removal by contacting us.

Cookies & Analytics

TapFindMe uses minimal session cookies required for authentication. We use privacy-friendly analytics (Plausible Analytics) that do not track you across other websites and do not use advertising cookies. No third-party tracking scripts are loaded on guest-facing guide pages.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including secure HTTPS connections, hashed credentials, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
